CDW’s Tech Fore! Program Breaks Technology Barriers

CDW’s Tech Fore! community involvement program connects CDW with neighborhood leaders, technology and business partners, and sports and entertainment stars to provide communities and organizations with access to technology while teaching practical life skills – primarily through the game of golf.

Since its Jan. 31, 2017 launch, the Tech Fore! program has collaborated with and donated to Boys & Girls clubs in the Phoenix, Ariz., and Los Angeles, Calif., communities, as well as to Operation Homefront in Dallas, Texas. Follow the Tech Fore! story in our video series.

“The men and women that serve our country, we can’t thank them enough. So it’s awesome to come do events like this and be able to give back. I’m very honored to be a part of it.” – Ryan Palmer, PGA TOUR professional

“We truly appreciate the generous donation from CDW,” says Dale Wanek, chief financial officer, Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix. “Having the appropriate IT systems and hardware in place provide greater efficiencies within our organization, which in turn allows us to fulfill our mission of serving more than 11,000 Club kids across Phoenix and the West Valley.”

“Golf teaches you a lot – a lot more than I expected. It teaches you about etiquette, integrity; whether or not you’re going to move that ball when no one is looking.” – Chris Paul, NBA professional
