CDW Healthcare Explores Patient Engagement, Senior Care and More at HIMSS17

CDW Healthcare HIMSS17 and HealthTech PreviewCDW Healthcare will be front and center as an industry thought leader at HIMSS17, the world’s largest health IT conference. More than 40,000 healthcare IT professionals, clinicians, executives and vendors will gather Feb. 19–23 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla., for a variety of education and networking opportunities. As part of HIMSS’ educational program, CDW Healthcare leaders and industry leaders will take the stage to share new research and deliver timely insight into the use of technology to address critical industry challenges.

  • Nancy Ragont, senior manager, customer insights, CDW Healthcare, and Christine Holt, chief experience officer, Holy Redeemer Health System, will present “The Patient Experience Paradigm” on Feb. 22 at 4 p.m. ET in Hall F3. Holt will share Holy Redeemer’s patient experience transformation journey and best practices and lessons learned from the organization’s patient experience initiative. Ragont will present new insight on the state of patient engagement and technology’s role in enhancing it, revealing key findings from CDW Healthcare’s 2017 Patient Engagement Perspectives Study
  • Ginna Baik, senior care strategist, CDW Healthcare, and Ken Smith, senior research scholar and director, Mobility Division, Stanford Center on Longevity, will present “Connecting Senior Care: Wearables and Analytics Drive Results” on Feb. 22 at 8:30 a.m. ET in Room 207C. They will discuss new research that explores the potential of wearables to advance population health, especially among aging and senior populations, while exploring how wearable devices can deliver a more complete view of resident and patient health

Also at HIMSS17, CDW Healthcare will premiere the print edition of HealthTech magazine, CDW’s newest quarterly publication. HealthTech will include features on the industry’s most important technology trends, including cloud, mobile, security and data center transformation.
