CDW-G was awarded the Software Value Added Reseller (SVAR) contract from the National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint Cooperative Purchasing Organization. One of the largest public contract cooperatives in the United States, NASPO ValuePoint works to foster greater value, innovation and competition in the public sector market. Aggregating demand from all 50 states, the District of Columbia and U.S. territories, the co-op enables states to leverage their spending through a single solicitation that obtains competitive pricing and contract terms. The SVAR grants participating state entities access to software contract bids that are sourced, competitively priced and vetted from the four awardees, including CDW-G – saving time and ensuring value.
CDW-G’s broad scope of software and solutions offerings, qualifications as a solutions provider, competitive prices and customer-centric approach factored into its selection for the new contract. Under the SVAR agreement, CDW-G will offer its full spectrum of software licensing, on- and off-premises hosting, installation, training and maintenance offerings to NASPO ValuePoint participants. Participating entities also will have access to CDW-G’s entire software portfolio during the five-year contract term.
“Being awarded the NASPO ValuePoint SVAR contract is a testament to CDW-G’s unwavering focus on providing an excellent customer experience and the broadest selection of industry-leading software and services to public sector organizations. We look forward to working with NASPO ValuePoint and its members as it continues to improve public contracting effectiveness across the nation,” said Bob Kirby, vice president, Federal and state and local sales, CDW-G.
