CDW-G won the prestigious Beacon Award from the Association of Educational Publishers (AEP) for its educational funding website, CDW-G was recognized by AEP for the best marketing website in 2013 on June 4 at the group’s annual conference in Washington, D.C. The Beacon Awards recognize exceptional marketing campaigns that raise awareness of and excitement for educational development.

Sponsored by CDW-G, launched in August 2012 with the goal of helping K-12 and higher education professionals and institutions secure the necessary funding to supplement limited budgets, expand innovative programs, prepare students for the increasingly complex skills they need to participate in tomorrow’s workforce, and help close the equity gap in educating students from all backgrounds and circumstances.

To date, more than 8,200 grant seekers have registered to use the free, searchable website. On average, more than 400 new users register for each week.
