At CDW, a diverse and inclusive workforce is a key factor in business success, and today, the Human Rights Campaign Foundation recognized CDW’s efforts with a perfect score of 100 percent on its 2018 Corporate Equality Index (CEI).

The CEI is a national benchmarking survey and report on corporate policies and practices related to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) employees. CDW joins 609 other major U.S. businesses that achieved top marks for 2018.

“The CEI perfect score demonstrates that diversity and inclusion are ingrained in the fiber of everything we do – driving collaboration, innovation and success,” said Dennis Berger, CDW’s senior vice president and chief coworker services officer. “At CDW, we respect the unique attributes and perspectives of every coworker. They are part of the fabric that makes CDW great – helping us achieve optimal results for our customers and our company.”

The 2018 CEI rated 1,084 businesses in the report, which evaluates LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. CDW’s efforts in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria result in the 100 percent ranking and the distinction as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.
