CDW Announces Military Spouse Employment Partnership

CDW joins Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment PartnershipCDW joined the Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment Partnership, an initiative connecting more than 340 employers that are committed to recruiting, hiring, promoting and retaining military spouses in portable careers. This partnership is part of the Department of Defense’s broader Spouse Education and Career Opportunities program, which seeks to reduce the unemployment rate and wage gap experienced by military spouses.

By joining the partnership, CDW emphasizes its commitment to maintaining employment status for military spouses if they relocate, providing career promotion opportunities and increasing pay equity commensurate with their level of training, work experience and accomplishments.

CDW is proud to be a leader in hiring, training and transitioning military personnel, veterans and their families. Over the last several years, CDW has supported Folds of Honor, which awards scholarships to family members of U.S. service members killed or wounded in the line of duty. G.I. Jobs named CDW one of the 2016 Top 100 Military Friendly Employers, and CDW landed on Military Times’Best for Vets” list for the last seven years.
